Product FAQs
Product FAQs
Why should I take a Multivitamin + Iron?
Taking a Multivitamin + Iron helps cover the essential vitamins and minerals your body needs every day, while the added iron supports red blood cell production and energy levels. It’s especially useful if your diet might be lacking in iron rich foods or if your body has higher iron requirements.
Who should take Multivitamin + Iron?
Multivitamin + Iron is ideal for anyone who wants to support their overall health and energy levels, particularly those who may not get enough iron from their diet. This includes people with higher iron needs, such as women during their menstrual cycle, vegetarians and vegans.
How does Multivitamin + Iron help with energy levels?
Multivitamin + Iron supports energy by helping your body produce healthy red blood cells and convert food into fuel. This can reduce fatigue and help you feel more energised throughout the day.
How does Multivitamin + Iron help with blood health?
Multivitamin + Iron helps produce healthy red blood cells, which are responsible for carrying oxygen from your lungs to every part of your body - This ensures your organs and muscles get the oxygen they need.
Can I take Multivitamin + Iron with other supplements?
You can generally take a Multivitamin + Iron alongside other supplements. Just be mindful of overlapping nutrients, especially additional iron, vitamin C, or other minerals. This is to avoid exceeding recommended daily amounts. If you’re unsure, it’s always best to check with a healthcare professional.
When is the best time to take Multivitamin + Iron?
For best results, take your Multivitamin + Iron once a day, ideally with a meal to help absorption and reduce the chance of stomach upset. Avoid taking it with tea, coffee, or calcium rich foods, as these can interfere with iron absorption.
Are there any side effects with Multivitamin + Iron?
Some people may experience mild digestive side effects when taking iron, like nausea, constipation, or a metallic taste. This is fairly common and usually improves as your body adjusts. Taking your supplement with food or trying a different type of iron can help, but if symptoms persist, check with your healthcare practitioner.

More Information
More Information
Taking a regular multivitamin supplement with added iron can provide multiple benefits, including:
Oxygen Transport
Iron's primary purpose is to carry oxygen throughout the body. It's a key component of haemoglobin, a protein found in red blood cells that bind to oxygen in the lungs and deliver it to the tissues and organs.
By ensuring proper cell oxygenation, iron supports the body and boosts the functioning of your cells.
Energy Production
Iron is renowned for its ability to metabolise energy and help you harness it. If your iron levels are low, you might feel lethargic and be unable to perform general exercise. Multivitamins, iron and other minerals can boost your energy levels and help you get through the day.
Red Blood Cell Formation
Without enough iron, the body cannot produce an adequate number of healthy red blood cells, leading to iron-deficiency anaemia. Symptoms of anaemia include fatigue, weakness, pale skin, and shortness of breath.
Immune Function
Iron is vital in supporting a healthy immune system, ensuring the cells function properly and can defend the body against viruses and infections. If you don't get enough iron, you might get sick quickly because your body can't fight properly.
Cognitive Function
Sufficient iron levels are necessary for optimal cognitive function. Inadequate iron levels may contribute to cognitive impairments, including difficulties with concentration, memory, and learning.
Muscle Function
Iron is essential for muscle health and function. As a component of myoglobin, it's instrumental in storing and transporting oxygen within muscle cells. Adequate iron levels support muscle performance, endurance, and overall physical strength.
